Rejoice, I’m working!

“Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.”
Philippians 4:4 KJV
“Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 4: 14-16 ESV
“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.”
Matt. 10:29-31 ESV
Father, I give you all those things I have tried to control – Even manipulate. The circumstances I, with desperation – Often with panic – have tried to stop from worsening. With human effort and prayers of desperation, Caught in the spiral of grief and unbelief.
I hear that command to the ruler Jairus When he heard his little daughter had died, And the natural mind would have said, It’s too late – There’s nothing you can do now! But gazing into the broken heart And face of that father, your Son said: Be not afraid — only believe! I, too, hear him say that to me.
Opening my mind and my spirit To the blazing light of his Spirit, Relinquishing those griefs And disappointments I was holding so tightly Within me. Knowing that you are a God Who can be intreated, Who is working out a marvellous plan Which I cannot possibly imagine At this point in Time. You will bring to pass every word You have spoken and placed In my heart.
Like Mary Magdalene at the tomb, I hear that voice say: Woman, why are you weeping? The places where Death has reigned Shall be replaced with Life immortal. The undisputable Truth of my Resurrection Will take root in hearts waiting to be convinced, And take root in such a way That nothing shall shake this personal knowing.
Those dear to you whose feet are wandering and stumbling In the ways of sin and rebellion, Will be confronted with me — the Living Christ! And as I was able to turn around a Saul of Tarsus And make him into Paul the Apostle, So shall I change the lives of those running from me. I will heal their backslidings, I will love them freely!
Therefore, rejoice and lift up your head! In the unseen world I am working on every situation – So rejoice, my daughter, and again I say Rejoice!!
