Lift the Light higher!

A few months ago I dreamt that I was walking along a dark road. In front of me walked an old man carrying a lantern. The lantern was lit but it did not give much light because his arm was down at his side. I was wondering why he did not lift it up so that he could see better.
As if he could read my thoughts, the man lifted up his arm, and as the lamp went higher, the light intensified and became brighter, higher and higher until it was almost bright as day!
The words came to me in the dream: “Lift the light higher!”
God’s written Word, the Holy Scriptures are given to us to light our path. The more we live by and obey His Word, if we give it a more important place in our lives, the more light we will receive and greater clarity on the path we are treading.
So don’t hide your light but bring it out and up, that not only you, but others around and who are following will also benefit, and be able to walk safely!
