Something to think about

Something to think about this week!

By George Jesze, devotional for 23rd January 2016

“And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

Numbers 13, 33 KJB

What are YOU looking at – The size of your problem and the giants or the size of your GREAT GOD?!!

The greatest distance is not from the earth to the moon, but from the head to the heart — in other words, what I know in theory — how long before it gets down into my heart, my spirit.

Some people say they only believe what they see – Have you ever seen your brain? Probably not, but I expect you’ve got one!

“Then He said to Thomas, “Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing.”

Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”

Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.”

John 20, 27 – 29

People say: The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, but I like to say it begins with the decision to make that step and to do it!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help us to take our eyes off our problems and open our eyes to see your greatness! Help us to believe your Word in spite of what we see, and we shall see amazing answers in this new year! In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
