“And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and took bread, and a bottle of
water, and gave it unto Hagar, putting it on her shoulder, and the child, and sent
her away: and she departed, and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba. And
the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.
And she went … a good way off … for she said, Let me not see the death of the
child … and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her …
fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. And God opened
her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went and filled the bottle with
water, and gave the lad drink.” Genesis 21: 14-19 KJV
A few weeks ago, I was at the 2025 yearly missionary conference from International Gospel Outreach (IGO) , with whom I hold ministerial credentials. The theme was “Harvest”, and the Lord gave me there a prophetical word, which I would like to share with you today. It was for the conference-delegates but also for all Christians.
“And Hagar and Ishmael were in the wilderness and the water was spent in the bottle. The bottle was empty and only death could follow because they were in the wilderness. The water was spent in the bottle. The Lord would say: Some of you have been in the wilderness in areas of your life and you have felt that the water was spent in the bottle. And you’ve received a measure of new water, but the Lord wants to come and pour like a waterfall, springing up and around you, in this bottle that it might be filled again in a new way.
And even as the angel of the Lord opened Hagar’s eyes and she saw a well of water and she was able to fill the bottle, so the Holy Spirit will open your spiritual eyes and will show you where you can fill up your spiritual bottle. And in these last days, not just those I have spoken to before, but every one of my People, and every one in this room, the anointing of YESTERDAY that we have in our bottle, our spirits, will not do for the days ahead.
Because times are coming when great darkness will cover the Earth, but my Spirit
will come in a new way to those who seek Him. So the Lord would say to you, Seek the Lord in a new way. Seek for the anointing, not of Yesterday, that was good and not just the anointing of Today which is good, but the anointing for the days ahead.
Because they will come at you forcefully and they will come in your society and they will come around the Earth – the forces of darkness, in a new way.
For the enemy knows he has a short time and he wants to take as many with him to Hell, but the Lord says I have been busy, I have not been unoccupied. I am seeking, I am looking, and I can see those bottles of the spirit being held up to me, and saying: My Father, fill me anew with the anointing.
And even as your theme was ‘Harvest’, the Lord would say some of you have just a scythe in your hand. A scythe has been good, but if you are believing for a great
harvest, it’s time to order the combine-harvester, the combine-harvester. Well, you might say, I don’t know how to drive that. I don’t know what to do. But the Lord will show you and He will put people at your side. He will network you with the correct people of the correct organisations, that you will be able use this combine-harvester.
Therefore, the Lord would come upon you today —- (Tongues) —- He would come upon you as the Dove, upon the areas of your heart that have been wounded, that need healing; and He would come as a mighty fire and as mighty rushing water upon you, just as you need it. For I am an individual God, says your God. I do not put you all in the same pot. I see your need, I see your circumstances. I see the mandate I have put upon your life and I will never take it off.
Therefore, this day, do not think you are lost among all the others, that somehow you are hidden in a corner; or perhaps you have hidden yourself, and have said, What have I to give? But the Lord would draw you out today, and with arms of Love, He will put them round about you. My child, come out, stand in the middle of the room again, for I am the One who will uphold you with my strong right arm.
The anointing that breaks the yoke, your own yoke and the yokes of others, because I would use you, I would use you that yokes of the enemy might be broken, so that my People shall walk free, as where they are now laying or hidden among those yokes, as you stand there, as you pray, as you speak forth, they will stand and the yoke shall be broken, because of the anointing. Therefore, the water will not be spent in your bottle.
It will be filled, it will be filled, it will be filled and overflowing.
And the Lord your God would tell you that he loves you. Well, you might say, I know that. But He wants to say it again in a new way, I love you despite what you might see as failures, they can become a stepping-stone to come higher in me, if you will learn from them. I am the Potter, you are the clay and even though sometimes that vessel is marred, yet I’ll put you again on the Potter’s Wheel. I throw nothing away. I am the God, the God who makes anew, for the Lord knows what He is doing.
Prayer; And so Father, I thank you so much, I thank you so much for what we have received during this conference and what we are still going to receive, because it’s not ended yet. Father, we praise you and give you all the glory. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.”
And how is it with you today, my dear devotionalsjust4u!! friend? Is the water spent
in your bottle? I would encourage you to seek the Lord anew for a fresh anointing of
His Spirit, that he might fill up the ‘bottle’ of your spirit and bring you out of any
‘wilderness experience’ you may be going through. Let yokes be broken because of
the anointing! And let your God come as the Dove to heal any wounded places, come as the fire and come as a mighty rushing water, just as you need it. Let His arms enfold you, showing you His eternal, forgiving Love!
The water was spent – BUT GOD!! he had the answer then for Hagar and
Ishmael, and He has the answer for you and me today!!
